Lebron James: A man for the kids

On this day where most people in the media are choosing to celebrate greed, hate, envy, and jealousy in association with LeBron James, were choosing something different to talk about. The kids all look happy to have spent time with Lebron James and we are happy for them. While the media emphasizes that Lebron James joined his trio in South Beach out of greed and selfishness, let it be known that all the revenue from the Decision , all of Lebron's revenue at least was donated to the Boys and Girls Club of America. And for that fact, and the pay cut he took we applaud Lebron James for following his heart in living out his dreams.

(shout out to ESPN for the photo)

  1. I agree with you. Lebron is usually casted in such a negative light that people forget that 3 million dollars from the deicison was allocated to the eight teams that were pursing James. That has provided all kind of renovations and more for the inner city kids of those cities. Lebron may have went about the decision wrong but he defintely gave back to the kids which should be applauded.

  2. Yes Most athlete's of today would not even dignify the idea of losing money to go play for another team; the network responsible for broadcasting the "Decision" has not donated a dime from their revenue generated off the program to anyone, and they have been the leaders in perpetuating the criticism LeBron James is facing.

  3. I'm not even a Lebron fan but I respect greatness and like you said ESPN and other networks go out of their way to say anything about him because he is a lightning rod for ratings and attention. Over time he will get his repuatation back especially when he finally wins a ring.
